Modern Growth Stack 2024
Profiles, a networking hub and real-time metrics turned a one-way conference into a two-way marketplace for about 1,000 marketers.

1. About the client
Modern Growth Stack 2024 (MGS 2024) was a marketing conference held on July 31, 2024 at COEX in Seoul. Organized by AB180, it drew about 1,000 marketers. The program had 12 key topics, 57 speakers and 35 sessions.
2. Why they came to Umoh
The program was packed, but attendees had no way to see who else was coming. Many arrived with sales goals but no way to find the right people. When the conference ended, so did the conversations. Attendees went home with a few business cards, and the organizers had no owned channel for post-event follow-up.
3. What they used
1) Attendee profiles
Every attendee created a digital profile before the event, listing company, role and interest areas. Some attendees shared their profile links on LinkedIn and generated real leads from them.
2) Networking hub
The hub showed guests and hosts who was in the room before the doors opened. Attendees messaged each other directly and scheduled meetings through Umoh.
3) Real-time participation metrics
Hosts viewed segment-level participation metrics in real time during the event. Afterwards, they followed up through their own CRM flows.
4. Results
| Result | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Attendee visibility | Guests connected and prospected instead of only listening to talks |
| Sales opportunities | Several attendees secured follow-up leads directly through Umoh |
| Owned follow-up channel | Hosts saw participation data in real time and ran post-event outreach on their own CRM |
5. What's next
For 2025, AB180 expanded its use of Umoh from networking alone to the whole event: landing page, ticketing, check-in, matchmaking, and post-event attribution and reporting, all on one platform.
