Knowledge Graphs Conference 2025

Five years of registration records revealed a loyal-attendee segment that spends 40% more per purchase, and automated LinkedIn outreach reached a 50% reply rate with no manual work.

1. About the client

The Knowledge Graphs Conference (KGC) is organized by Knowledge Graphs Conference LLC. The 2025 edition ran from May 5 to 9 at Cornell Tech in New York City in a hybrid format. Its audience is a global community of data- and AI-driven engineers, researchers and executives, and the conference has five years of registration records behind it.

Umoh's scope covered two areas: analyzing historical attendee data for an insight report, and running inbound and outbound ticket sales.

2. Why they came to Umoh

KGC had an engaged audience, but the data about that audience was scattered. Five years of registration records sat in disconnected spreadsheets and ticket platforms. The 2025 growth target asked for both higher-value repeat buyers and net-new prospects. Building lists by hand and sending generic blasts risked spending budget on the wrong people.

3. What they used

1) Attendee data consolidation and analysis

Umoh consolidated the previous year's registration logs and mapped each contact's purchase history. That surfaced a "loyal attendee" segment, defined as three or more previous purchases. Trend analysis showed when these attendees buy, how much they spend, and which content tracks trigger ticket upgrades.

2) Segmented email campaigns

The insights fed segmented email journeys. Loyal attendees received messages about advanced workshops and alumni pricing. Mid-funnel contacts were nudged with early-bird bundles.

3) Automated LinkedIn outreach

For net-new leads, Umoh's bot pulled prospects from the followers of the official KGC LinkedIn page. It then ran the connect, message and follow-up sequence from start to finish with no manual steps.

4) Real-time attribution

Every sale, whether it came from email or LinkedIn, looped back into the dashboard. Marketing could see which channel converted fastest and put more effort there.
