SNUSV X Azit Bridging Event
A pre-event lounge, QR check-in and instant badge printing let a small student team run a professional alumni gathering.

1. About the client
The Seoul National University Student Venture Network (SNUSV) is Korea's oldest university startup community, active since 1996. Its alumni have founded more than 70 companies, including Hyperconnect, Today's House and QANDA, and hundreds of them are still active in the startup world. The SNUSV X Azit Bridging Event on May 1, 2025 at Samjung Hotel's Adonis Hall brought about 150 SNU alumni founders, investors and student founders-to-be into one room. SNUSV organized it with support from the SNU Entrepreneurship Center.
2. Why they came to Umoh
SNUSV is a student-led non-profit with no full-time operations staff. The organizers wanted to know exactly who was attending before the event started, but the attendee list and data were scattered across several places. They wanted participants to chat and connect without awkward barriers. They also wanted a record of which connections were actually made, so the next event could build on it. All of this had to be handled by a small, part-time student team.
3. What they used
1) Pre-event networking lounge
Attendees filled in a profile as part of registration. Before the event, they could see in the Umoh lounge who was coming and what each person had done in their career, and start a chat right there. The attendee list was visible on one page instead of across scattered lists.
2) QR check-in and on-site badge printing
On the day, attendees checked in with a QR code in about a second. A personalized name tag printed on the spot, showing name, affiliation, cohort and hashtags. Those details gave people an easy opening line.
3) Unified notifications
Email, SMS and app push went out from one notification system. An announcement took under a minute to send, and the organizer no longer had to keep the list in a spreadsheet by hand.
